Our plans for sneaking away from the docent were thus thwarted, but we ended up getting a fascinating lesson in Picasso's art that we never would have gotten by just glancing at this painting. Moral: art is much cooler if you know what it's all about. I'll present it the same way the docent did - look at the painting for a few minutes and note everything you see. What elements are there? He was saying something very specific here, and see if you can tell what the message / point was.
